Sterilization Facility

Kilgore, Texas Dentist Office offering Family, Cosmetic, Implant DentistryOur foremost concern is the health and safety of our patients.  To assure you of this safety, Silvertooth Family Dental utilizes the latest in sterilization techniques and uses state-of-the-art sterilization equipment to ensure that all instrumentation, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned and sterilized.

One of the ways we do this is through the use of sterilization cassettes.  Sterilization cassettes are simply metallic boxes that contain customized slots for the placement of various dental instruments.  Sterilization cassettes were initially used by hospitals for sterilizing surgical instruments used in medical procedures.  In recent years, some dental offices have adopted the use of cassettes for cross infection prevention as well.
